Bijrani Forest Rest House
is located deep inside thick forest of Jim Corbett National Park. Bijrani forest rest house remains open for tourist for seven months from 15th November to 15th June. One can easily feel presence of tiger, elephants, deer, lots of birds around this forest rest house. Even after offering limited facilities in rooms these forest rest house are in high demand due to their exotic location-Inside Jim Corbett National Park.
- Any resort which is close to a particular safari zone will be distant away from other safari gate as any two safari zones are minimum 15 kilometers away from each other.
- Guest have choice to stay inside Corbett national park and outside national park. Inside accommodations are basic accommodation means there is no air conditioning, no swimming pool... etc.

Accommodation and Amenities After taking entry from Amdanda gate of Bijrani range one have to cover 12 kilometer to reach Bijrani Forest Rest House. It takes around 30-40 minutes to reach at this forest rest house. This 12 kilometer of 4WD(Four-wheel drive) from Amdanda entry gate to Bijrani forest rest house is full of undulating forest landscape and can offer a great wildlife sighting any moment.

Temperature & Weather Between November to March weather will be cold in Morning and evening while pleasant in afternoon.
From April till 15th June weather will be pleasant in Morning and evening while afternoon becomes hot. In summers during afternoons people prefer to go for safaris rather staying at forest rest house.

Light in Rooms There is no 24 hours electricity facility at Bijrani forest rest house although in evening for some time electricity is supplied by forest department by solar inverter.
Forest department offers solar powered LED lamps in all rooms and for hot water , solar water heating facility is given at a common point near rooms.

Safety This accommodation facility is surrounded by solar power fencing to keep away animals from forest rest house. Forest department has restricted walking in forest rest house compound only , outside this compound walking is not allowed.
All accommodation facility in Bijrani forest rest house is masonry (pakka accommodation). There is no tent or mud cottage.
Restaurant and Canteen
Bijrani forest rest house has canteen facility for meals and beverages. Apart from breakfast , lunch and dinner canteen also serves tea, coffee and snacks. All meals are veg meals and available as per canteen timing.

There are three different room categories at Bijrani forest rest house.

All rooms are naturally ventilated means there is no electric appliances like Air conditioner or fan. As per occupancy rooms have wooden bed. During day time open windows are best source of day light while at night LED lamps becomes source of light. Rooms does not have any intercom facility.
Rooms have attached washroom facility. Forest department offers bath linen, soap in washrooms.
Jeep and Elephant back Safari
While staying at this forest rest house one can enjoy morning and evening jeep and elephant safari of Bijrani range. Maximum six members can go for jeep safari in one jeep while four person can sit on elephant. After dhikala bijrani is only rest house which has elephant back safari option available for guest.
